Why I Love Teaching

Teaching the cello brings me immense joy and fulfillment. I am deeply passionate about helping students discover their own musical voice, grow their confidence, and fall in love with the cello just as I have. Whether we’re exploring technique, refining expression, preparing an audition or sharing the magic of performance on stage, creativity, dealing with stress, my dedication is in every lesson. I strive to create a supportive, inspiring environment where curiosity thrives and each student feels encouraged to explore their potential.

I am proud to teach at the private academy Davidsbundler in The Hague, where I work with dedicated students of all ages to build strong musical foundations and long-lasting passion for the cello.

I am also regularly invited to give masterclasses at SME (Stift Musical Encounters) each year at the end of April and beginning of May, where I enjoy working with talented young musicians in an intensive and inspiring setting.
